Maximum-width and maximum-height modes only reduce images that exceed the chosen limit, while centered width or height crops remove pixels from two opposite edges. For a predictable batch, choose dimensions that make sense for every selected image.

Standard resizing changes pixel dimensions with conventional image processing. AI upscaling uses a dedicated model to enlarge the image by 2×, 3× or 4× while attempting to reconstruct sharper-looking detail. The result still depends on the quality of the source image.
